I’ve shared little bits here and there, but I wanted to tell you more about when and why we’re moving to the suburbs. When is a lot simpler question to answer. We’re moving in September. Our house is a new build and still has a little work to be done, which allowed us to give our current landlord time to find a new tenant. I don’t know if the Coastal Grandmother trend is still in, but I love this outfit! The vibes are clean and simple, with a classic white and blue color palette. I love planning and hosting parties, and I’m all about a good theme. There were a few options, but dinosaurs were the winner this year. Earlier this week, I had to take a makeup-free, filter-free selfie to apply for a campaign. I looked at it and I thought to myself: “Wow, not bad for 37!” I didn’t start taking skincare seriously until my 30s, but now I have an established routine, and it has definitely made a difference. Over the years, I’ve shared a lot about my mental health here: my anxiety, finding the right therapist, body image, and more. I’ve never really been cool, and although it was a struggle in my teenage years, I’m totally okay with it as an adult. But, certain outfits make me feel like a different version of myself, and this one is giving total cool girl vibes. I don’t know if it’s the print or the silhouette, but it’s working! These blooms are a little more subtle than the ones from last week’s post, but still beautiful! I love the pop of purple as a backdrop for this neutral outfit. But, as I always say, neutral doesn’t have to be boring! Bold pattern and block heels definitely take it up a notch. This fabulous skirt is from a two-piece set that I got at Anthropologie last year.
