Guild member Martina Obersat brought a variety of rib baskets to the workshop and students could choose to weave a very personal colourful, unique basket. All baskets had three equal central ribs that needed to be lashed in place. To add interest to the basket, a random weave rim was woven in place at the end. All the woven creations were beautiful and no two were alike! Fun!   ..read more

  The Southwestern Ontario Basketry Guild is proud to present the basketry workshop schedule for 2023. We have a great lineup of instructors this year that will teach students of all skill levels new materials, processes and techniques. Southwestern Ontario Basketry Guilds members got together for the last workshop of 2022. We made woven and wrapped ornaments to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.
