We’ve certainly had our first taste of summer here. It’s been so fun and kind of crazy already. This year feels like it’s flying by!
LAST WEEK’S WIN: It felt like a really official kick off for summer this past weekend. I have to admit that as a parent, traveling just feels like such a big hurdle. The laundry. The packing. The lack of routine. The overstimulation… It is worth it though. Not easy, but worth it. Seeing Jack have the time of his life was just the best. I’d do four loads of laundry a day to watch it all over again!
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: We have a lot going on this week. I get the ..read more

I know what you’re thinking by the title of the post. A cropped top?! But yes. This crop top is not like most though. It’s so chic and pairs well with high waisted bottoms, which happen to be available in abundance right now. I have a super long torso, so this top is extra cropped on me. I personally don’t mind showing the sliver of skin, but just keep in mind that you may get more coverage depending on your torso length.
I love the simplicity of pairing the cropped top with a pair of breezy linen pants. Both of the pieces feel a little structured with the collar of the shirt and pleats of the ..read more

I am so ready to make the switch in my closet from cold to warm weather clothes! The other week I ran into Target for a quick errand and, well, you know what happens when you run into Target for one thing….. you end up with a cart load of things you didn’t plan on getting. I have been so impressed with the selection of cute dresses at Target. They have some of the best summer dresses at really great prices. If you haven’t been lately, highly recommend taking a spin to see what they have. And if you want to brush up your dress collection a bit, I rounded up some fun options (with most unde ..read more

Someone DMed me this week about what I was shopping for. I thought I’d round up some of things I’ve recently purchased and what I have my eyes on…
TOWEL TERRY POLO
I want all things terry cloth! This polo looks exactly like what I want to wear for casual summer weekends with cut off shorts. For moms with little girls, you can match your daughter with the terry romper.
MIDI FLORAL DRESS
I truly hardly recognize my closet right now, it’s filled with way more color than normal and I’m not mad about it. This pink floral dress looks like the perfect silhouette that can be dressed up or down ..read more

It’s Tuesday again and I’m back with another week of outfits. Well, it’s almost a full week of outfits. I didn’t take a photo of my Tuesday outfit because I had a long day and didn’t have time for a shower… and it was just a hot mess. So no photo documentation of that, probably thankfully for everyone.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: I feel like I kind of emerged from a little bit of a slump I was in. Well I don’t know if I emerged from it, but I’m feeling better. It’s just so hard to do everything I want to do, let alone all the things I feel like I should be doing. I am pretty good about sch ..read more

Half-Zip Pullover // Wrap Skirt // Sneakers
The Best Athleisure Brands Addison Bay
Addison Bay is one of my favorite brands for “fun” workout leggings. (Nine times out of ten I want basic black or navy, but every once and a while I want something fun!) These are darling and would be so cute for cooler spring weather or days when you just need ..read more

Since summer is almost here, I wanted to share an updated summer capsule wardrobe. I love creating mini capsule wardrobes at the start of a new season since it helps me take inventory of what I already own and fill in any gaps. It’s also such a life saver on days when I can’t decide what to wear – kind of like having a personal uniform that you can dress up or down! Picking a color palette also makes mixing and matching easier. I’m always a fan of navy and blue (of course), but I’ve been particularly vibing with pink and (!!!!) brown, so I’ve included a mix of new pieces I’m loving ..read more

Whew! The past week was a bit of a whirlwind with travel, a big photoshoot, and Mother’s Day. I got back to Monday and felt like I no longer knew which way was up! All good things, though, so no complaints.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Shooting my upcoming collection with Neely and Chloe was amazing. I’m so excited for you guys to see the actual products, but it was also just a really motivating trip. I always come away from things like this feeling super inspired. Most of my work I do alone (especially now that I shoot the majority of my content with a tripod) so it’s a true treat to work beside oth ..read more

I wanted to share all the details about this cane dress I recently sewed so it’s all under “one roof” so to speak. And I also was able to take some photos while wearing it on Nantucket last week with the super talented Georgie, so I really wanted to share.
If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know that I have been in the process of sewing a dress inspired by a very expensive one I saw online. While I would have loved to buy the original, at nearly $4,000 it was, um, slightly out of budget to put it lightly. A few followers suggested I could make it myself and after looking up some ..read more

Summer is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time to hit the pool! Between time down the shore with Mike’s parents, our annual Nantucket trip, and endless hours at our pond club, we spend a fair share of time by the water during summer! When it comes to one-piece swimsuits, finding the perfect balance between style and comfort is key. So I’m rounding up the best one-piece swimsuits from a few brands I love.
