I had an awesome dinner last week at The Backroom at Moody’s in Waltham. True to its name, it’s located behind the deli counter at the flagship Moody’s Deli location on Moody street, and guests enter in through the deli. The Backroom is such a cozy yet elegant restaurant, and my friend and I had a great meal — there’s nothing like unwinding with some great charcuterie and wine on a Friday night.
We started our dinner with some red wine and big plate of charcuterie and cheese and one of their flatbreads — the Broccoli & Burrata Flatbread made with tomato, Calabrese chili, and parsley.

I had an awesome time this weekend heading to Prouse Farm in Canton for Festival at the Farm presented by Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs. It was a great day filled with wonderful music, laughs, games, and lots of great food and drink.
When I visited with my friend, we started by relaxing and watching some of the performances when we first arrived. One of my favorites of the day was The Wild Reeds. I’ve been a fan of theirs since I first heard them on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert a few years ago. It was so great to see them perform live.
