Have any of you guys ever been challenged to a fight by an end user? This particular user is upset because the troubleshooting steps we give them require a reboot and this user would rather cut off their limbs than reboot their laptop. We told them that this is the best recommendation we have and it resulted in them wanting to fight...literally...they said "we can go talk about this outside since you want to sound so tough." So I am acting IT director for my company. 7 years ago there was 4 IT guys in this department including myself. As with every other industry folks were trimmed and I am now the lone wolf.
