So mi issue is the following: the rows start with the white. If, after completing a round, I count my rows from MC+6sc(=1) to the last row in the beginning of the row (white), I count 25 rows. I've never done any crocheting before. For some reason, I thought this would be am "easy" hobby (haha). I also thought it was a wise idea to use a dark colored plush yarn too... Haha. I give it a 6/10. I was really struggling with the pattern, mostly because it basically says to improvise in critical spots, like around the toes and the heel. I literally ended up crocheting a flap with some increases and sewing the heel to the ankle.
