Often people have trouble understanding that just because you’re recovered, doesn’t mean you’re done struggling. Here are some things that may never go away~
-Choking on pills because your gag reflex is permanently fucked up
-Infertility, or inability to have children due to the potential of life-threatening health complications
-Permanently messed up orthostatics (dizziness when standing abruptly, even in recovery)
-Heart issues
-Chronic fatigue

It’s been a long time since I’ve answered questions like this
Recovering on your own is infinitely more difficult than having a support system, a dietitian at the bare minimum. It’s vital to have people, especially medical professionals, who can hold you accountable.
In the meantime, I highly recommend the Recovery Record app. The Rise Up app is another great option. They’re both completely free, and it has a LOT of coping skills and motivation tactics.
