HO HO HO Hello Legends! I still cant believe we’re just days away from 2018, it feels like every year flies by quicker than the next, but not without finishing off on a bang with a month full of festivities!! Managing the silly seasons extra food, drinks & late nights out with early starts, hard training & racing can be quite a balancing act, joys of the athlete life! I started off the month with my 23rd birthday, coinciding with my 3rd turn at racing the 3 Point Challenge event at North Curl Curl, a local favourite of mine on the calendar!! It consists of a 400m  ocean s ..read more

Refreshed, Recharged, & Ready to Rip back in! Hi Team, It’s been awhile but I have really enjoyed being home, & taking some time off last month on a solid break, before kicking back into it this month. Easing back into the training mileage, & trying not to get over excited early because it’s just the start!!! And the next solid break of No training ain’t coming around again until this time next year! As Triathletes training up to 4 times a day most days it’s actually hard to just accept relaxing & not exercising, it’s so strange & I know for me, my body feels more ..read more

Hey Legends, We've all heard that saying- time flies when your having fun! Well I think it's the same for hard work! Because I've had a good mix of the two in my first 4 weeks here in Vitoria Gasteiz & in Europe & it certainly feels like it has flown by!! It's been a busy month so I'll fill you in…  Excuse the essay- you have been warned! Coming back to Vitoria Gasteiz for my second international season of racing it was very much like coming back to a second home. Hey Team, WOW, June, they say time flies when you’re having fun but I can’t believe we’re half way through 2017 already!  I made the most of my last month in Australia for a while & survived 1 month more of winter than I’ve had in the past 3 years, but I won’t start talking about the weather… because come on how many times do you walk into an 'sort of' friend, elevator trip or are waiting in line & the first port of call seems to always be a nice discussion on how nice, cold or crappy the weather is, haha riveting stuff but luckily for you this is a blog about Triathlon ..read more

Hey guys!  A busy month it's been this May! A little different to the usual #athletelife of swim, bike, run, gym, eat & sleep. This month it was more like morning Triathlete, evening nurse & coffee addict!  I'm in the last stages of my Bachelor of Nursing Degree, advanced studies & I am super determined to finish this Degree & get working casually in the hospital as a Registered Nurse, when I can work it in around training blocks, racing & travel. And it will be wonderful to start getting paid for our work because as students in my degree at the University ..read more
