I've been experimenting with shutter angles of 90, 72, 45, 144, and 172.8, 180 (23.98). Does anyone from actual set know which one works best for fast-moving subjects in a music video?

Not sure if this is the right subreddit but...
I am looking to buy a Sony a6400 to record videos, mostly events and videos for realestate. I would love the option to record log. The a6400 has S-Log2 and S-Log3 I believe however it is only 8-bit which ive heard is not high enough for log and will look terrible. However my cousin with the a7 iii records in a flat colour profile, not sure if its S-Log2 or 3 or something else, but the a7 iii is also 8-bit which, according to the internet is too low for log, and flat colour profiles. This will be my first proper camera, I've only recorded with an ..read more

This was all rushed and finished in one semester and I wore a lot of hats. Directing, styling, camera operating, and even editing… what shots should I use for my portfolio? Is there anywhere to submit a peice of work like this?! Besides the obvious blatant flaws(180 rule, shakiness, etc.) does anyone have any tips or comments on my over all style or things that they think should be taken out/ avoided all together?

What do you guys think a out the Ready Rig?
I have the option to buy a RR with Pro Arms for 1250€ in good condition. Heard a lot of good things but still not 100% sure. It's a great price and a system I can grow into (like with the new nimbus upgrade coming up).
So... Whats your opinion?

The director wants to match the lighting on Lando pretty exactly. Could it be as easy as maybe 2 2x1 LED Panels blasting him from above/behind? And a reflector for fill? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Soon I will make a short documentary on behalf of a client.
The documentary will be about a driver who participates in NASCAR Europe. I will have 2 shooting days. 1 training day, where I can stage a lot and request certain actions from the driver, this is also where the interview will take place. The second day of shooting will be the day of the race itself.
Because I actually have no experience capturing cars traveling at very fast speeds. All tips and advice are welcome in terms of lens choice, FPS and things like that.
I will shoot with a Canon C70 and 3 Gopros that i will rig in the car a ..read more
