My name is Donovan....and I LOVE Bath & Body Works candles. I created this blog as outlet to express my thoughts and opinions on what has become one of my favorite things to buy. My blog will mostly feature reviews on candles that I have bought and burned; how they burned, what the throw was like and what I thought of the scent.

Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure and delight of meeting in person one of my dear readers; he schlepped all the way from Long Island to my neck of the woods in Joizee to meet lil ol me. He was so sweet and after we both nerded out with some candle talk, he ended up buying a bunch of candles.
You know who you are and if you're reading this, it was really nice meeting you and again thank you for taking this candles off of my hands. I hope you enjoy them all!
That said, I do have more candles left that I would like to get rid of...

That said, I really don't want to bring all of my candles with me. I would sell them on Mercari as per usual but my printer is on the fritz and I don't want to make constant trips to the library or Fedex to print labels nor am I trying to pay for shipping. So I wanna do it the old fashioned way
That said, I'm currently selling candles from my *gasp SNIFF ONLY COLLECTION
Here's what I'm currently sellling...

Have you ever looked back at something in your life that you were once passionate about and/or obsessed with and over time, you found yourself not feeling the same way anymore? Perhaps sort of going thru the motions with it or just completely over it but not ready to admit it?
That's how I feel about B&BW...more to the point, that's how I feel about talking about B&BW as a reviewer.
I mentioned before that I stopped posting regularly on IG. During last year's lockdown, I would pop my head in with a post or a story just to keep in touch a bit and show I was alive...only to see my post ..read more

Well we made it to 2021! I personally feel like the new year started last week on January 20th; the world got a little less crazy and I feel like I can breath again. No, things are certainly not ideal and nowhere near back to the normal but it's slowly getting there.
I hadn't had much to say on here lately. I didn't engage in any SAS shenanigans for obvious reasons. Besides a few wf bulbs during the most recent sale, I haven't really bought anything. I've kinda just been laying low and slimming down my collection as I'm not about the collecting/stocking up life anymore; either burning th ..read more

Well dear readers, today's New Year's Eve - we're almost at the finish line and soon we'll be able to wave goodbye and not so fond farewell to the dumpster fire that was 2020.
Normally, as per my own tradition, in honor of New Year's I would write a retrospective look back on the past year and list what I thought were the best new scents that were released. Obviously I couldn't do that this year - with the pandemic, I've been avoiding stores thus couldn't do my usual WALK N SNIFFs nor did I particular buy very much as I'm not about that shipping/handling plus tax life. But as this this New Ye ..read more

If you were asked what are smells that make you think of Christmas or put you in the Christmas spirit, you'd most likely say pine, cinnamon, gingerbread, all things peppermint, eggnog, mulled wine. All home fragrance companies, BBW included, make it a point to make candles with these iconic Christmas smells to further put you into the spirit and maybe conjure some childhood memories as well.
Christmas as well know it now has been congealed in our culture and society for decades with little to no deviation. That said, some traditions and foods and items once associated with Christmas have dis ..read more

As per my own tradition, as today is the official first day of winter, I thought I'd present my collection of holiday/winter candles.
So just like with my fall collection post, I'll talk about each one briefly (going a bit more in depth on the really old/rare ones) - give a bit of history and trivia and scent analysis. And I've placed links for the scents that I've already actually reviewed, so just click the name if you're interested. That said, let's start from the bottom and work our way up

As you may (or may not) know, Candle Day was last Friday and, for pandemic precautions, was spread the whole weekend. I chose not to participate (for the first time in 6 or 7 years) for quite a few reasons...I have a whole rant about that. Speaking of which, I was honestly so annoyed by the Candle Day Weekend that I honestly was n't in the mood to write this post but as this blog is an encyclopedia/compendium of sorts, I felt compelled to write this anyway for the sake of posterity.
At any rate, quite of few non-winter/holiday collections popped up that weekend - some online, some in certain s ..read more

I can't believe December and Christmastime is already here! How can a year go by so slow yet so fast at the same time?
Yeah, this year has been a lot and perhaps this December is the perfect time where we can all just for a second. The Christmas spirit could the soothing balm to ease our aching mind, body and soul. To quote a song from the musical Mame, "We Need a Little Christmas Now"!
Some of you may started the holiday ball rolling back in November. If you're like me, you may have gotten into Christmas mode fairly recently after Thanksgiving. Maybe you're not in the holiday mood at ..read more
