Do you like having 2-3 sweaty men shoe-horn you into polyester, canvas or denim bondage gear.
Do you like having your joints wrapped so tightly they bruise and bleed?
Do you like having your blood pressure turned up to 11 and being compressed so much that you think your head might explode?
Do you get off on enduring pain and suffering, and watching others endure it too?
Do you have a deathwish every time you get under the bar?
Yes?

Background
This was my 3rd competition, I've only been a powerlifter for about a year and a half. My first meet was the first year of this same event. This was the second year.
I started working with a powerlifting coach in my area in January. He was happy with my numbers but really helped fill in some of the cracks in my training. My volume increased 10x when I started working with him.

Is it just me or us guys in our thirties just get exhausted easily and we take way longer to recover?
I ultimately decided to reduce my training volume. I hated that, but I've been failing to finish my squat and pull workouts because keeping a full time job while also training has proven to be hell.
Is it because I'm now 32 years old?
Thanks.
