Hello! We have been in our house in Southern CO for 2.5 years now and 2 summers. Our first summer our grass was growing fine until I think I burned it with liquid Fertilizer I sprayed on the lawn. Since then our grass has been growing sporadically. This is will be our third summer and I want to try to get our lawn back to normal. In laws told me they don’t water their lawn ever for 20 years now. They don’t have a manual sprinkler or sprinkler system. They said it’s not necessary with the climate and rain they get. Got sod put down about 3 weeks ago. Curious how it's looking.. Looking for any tips / pointers to get this looking better and keeping it green! I've been watering heavily for 2.5 weeks. For week 3, I've started to move my watering schedule from 2 times a day to every other day. When it was delivered it was already fairly long maybe 5". Idk if I have the money right now to resod. Also I’m 4.5 months pregnant so I don’t have the ability to do that myself anyway. I really want to put rock or sand and pavers under the balcony area and then make the grass nicer on the rest of the lawn. I have a dog who does go out here but I’d be willing to walk her to potty more if it means a nicer lawn.
