It’s not a Happy Black History Month, at least for all. It has always been a happy time for me to celebrate the achievements, triumphs,  and contributions of Black Americans and Black culture throughout history. While attending a conference in Washington, D.C. a few months ago, I met up with a friend for brunch at Tatte Bakery & Cafe‘s City Center location. I ordered the French toast and was absolutely blown away! I used to consider myself a very organized person until my family began to grow. First, the laundry started to pile up and was left out, rather than put away.
