The latest data from Manpower Group reveals that the net hiring intent for businesses in the UK’s Transport and Logistics sector is +21% (for this current business quarter – Q2 2024). The Timber Packaging & Pallet Confederation (TIMCON) says discussions with the UK’s DEFRA (department for environment & farming) on the implementation of a reuse incentive scheme for wooden packaging have been “extremely positive”.
