Hi folks,
I'm looking to take advantage of my company's remote work policy and travel around the South East Asia over summer. Problem is that I cannot take the laptop to Vietnam which is my first stop due to company policies of restricted work countries in which Vietnam is.
So I intend to ship my laptop out to a friend in Australia and track it, then once I arrive at theirs in Australia I can work there for a few weeks then move on to new Zealand for the next part of the trip etc.
My question is what is involved in the shipping? If I'm only going for less than a month can I avoid custom tax a ..read more

I couldn't find a recent post about this, and maybe this isn't the right sub, but here goes.
I want to import some fragrance oils from the US to China. Where would I start looking for this kind of service? I contacted one company here in China (small scale firm) and they said they couldn't handle the fragrance oils.
The website (Scent Memory) says people have had luck using Vyking Shipping, but I'm wondering if there are better alternatives. I'm not in the US so I would need an address to ship them to and then forwarded to China. Alternative I guess a pickup service might work if Scent Memory ..read more

My family sponsors some kids in other countries, and we are putting together small care packages. The packages must be no larger than a 9x12 envelope and not weigh more than 4lbs. They are going to Colombia, Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Uganda. What company offers the lowest shipping cost? I've never done this before and really don't know where to start. Thanks in advance!

Seen it mentioned a few times here but not too many reviews. Has anyone had experience with them?

Long story short I left my laptop charger (which I really need) and some small but a little expensive jewelry I bought as gifts for my family in a hostel in Rome. I need to ship them to Madrid, where I have a friend that is coming soon to our country. The people of the hostel are keeping my belongings for now but I have to arrange the pick up and the shipment. I’ve tried UPS and FedEx but it doesn’t seem to work, I guess because of my location. Does anybody know what I can do?

Hey there, anyone have any experience/advice on shipping just one piece of furniture from Germany to the US? (East Coast) It's sturdy, but still old and somewhat delicate so best considered as antique. Or maybe another subreddit that would be worth posting this in?

I'm wanting to order something from a store in the US, but they don't ship outside the US and I'm in Australia. I know there are indirect ways to do it using MyUs and other things, but what would be best?
