I've never worked with leather outside of some small things from Boy Scouts, and I figured I would at least start asking here. Project: Replace factory rubber on a controller with leather. Reason: Xbox 1 Elite controllers are notorious for having the rubber grip absorbing oils from your skin and sweat and swelling up enough to permanently remove themselves from the adhesive. I could replace a part of the controller with the rubber, but there us more rubber on mine that is expanting and will not be easily replaced.
