I recently photographed a destination wedding at this beautiful venue in Southern Italy. It was an honour to spend three love-filled days at this timeless Masseria Potenti wedding in Puglia with some of the finest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.
I’m so pleased to introduce Emily & Peter, my gorgeous couple that fell in love with the Italian way of life and the rustic beauty of Puglia. Despite Covid trying to thwart their perfect wedding dream, once the world started to get back to normal they decided the autumn of 2021 was time. They gathered family, friends, and me, fo ..read more

I’ve put together a small blog of 40 photos to tell the story of this Cheshire wedding day. I hope you enjoy it!
Worried it might rain on your wedding day? I hope after seeing Sarah & Ric’s wet wedding in Cheshire, the British weather no longer holds any fear for you.
I received a wonderful email from Sarah’s Dad Jonathan which prompted me to create this blog tonight.
I just wanted to say how delighted we are with them. They are fantastic and exactly what Gill and I wanted when we got married over 30 years ago. Unfortuntely it wasn’t possible to get photographers to do ad hoc reportage ty ..read more

A Gorgeous Cheshire Wedding at the Mere Court Hotel
From the moment I met James & Jenny to chat about their Mere Court wedding, I knew we were going to create something special.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero wedding dress with bridal flowers by Artisan House of Flowers.
The bridal cars arrived- fabulous vintage camper vans! Big enough for Jenny and her crowd of bridesmaids (a gaggle of bridesmaids? A flock?) to get to the church in style.
The groom James waited inside the church, nervously. Family & friends gathered, ready to celebrate the nuptials.
One quick ceremony later, the vows ..read more

Thank you for your interest in Abbeywood Estate wedding photography. I’m so pleased to share a few images from the wedding of Jon & Daynah.
Abbeywood Estate is a gorgeous Cheshire wedding venue tucked away on the outskirts of Delamere Forest.
It’s a lovely country home situated in picturesque countryside. Couples getting married often choose Abbeywood for the light & airy indoor space and the stunning gardens outside. The gardens overlook the Utkinton Hills and provide a beautiful setting for wedding guests to explore. Abbeywood Esta ..read more

Jack & Alyx were married at the Church of St Mary in St Helens and celebrated their wedding at Oh Me Oh My in Liverpool. I’ve been shooting for quite a few years now and I’m used to doing a lot of weddings where the bride or groom is a close friend or relative of one of my previous couples. It’s always a lovely feeling to arrive in the morning and lots of people remember you and are pleased to see you again (or seem to be )
One of the bridesmaids, Gemma, is the groom’s sister- I photographed Gemma’s wedding at Oh Me Oh My back in 2016 and it was just amazing to see her and the family again ..read more

I photographed Dawn & Arthur’s gorgeous wedding day at a truly breathtaking venue; the Fison Barn, part of the Earth Trust centre in Oxfordshire.
The Fison Barn is a beautiful location for a wedding. The large barn doors open onto a private courtyard where wedding guests enjoyed cocktails & ice creams, and bats and swallows made their home in the barn eaves. (though thankfully the bats were asleep while we there). Birds of prey swoop overhead and there are lovingly tended displays of herbs and plants attracting butterflies and bees from miles around. The weather was perfect; overcast ..read more

Liz & Matt got married at the fabulous Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire and I was there to photograph the wedding.
I had this one ready to share last year, just before we went into our first national lockdown. I lost my mojo and retreated into my shell as the unprecedented covid pandemic swept around the world. What a historic year it’s been, for all sorts of reasons. I’m so glad it looks like we’re finally coming out the other side.
For once, I’m not going to ramble on about the day. Liz is going to do that for me!
What made you decide on Capesthorne Hall?
We were all set on a small ceremony ..read more

Hello everyone!
It’s been a while since my last post, but the sun is shining and I’m feeling energised and raring to go.
Nicola & Michael held their long-awaited (twice postponed due to covid!) wedding at Formby Hall last August. Despite some restrictions still being in place, they thought enough is enough- we’re getting married anyway!
It was a gorgeously intimate wedding day with just the fifteen or so of us there, yet it never felt anything less than a real celebration of love. The relief in their faces after the ceremony was finished was testament to all the pressure and upheaval they ..read more

An Adventure at the (Almost) Top of the World ↓↓↓
Iceland. The island at the top of the world.
Steaming geysers, drifting icebergs, fuming volcanoes, thunderous waterfalls, and black lava beaches; a land of otherworldly wonder.
Many Icelanders believe that elvish creatures- huldufólk, or hidden folk- inhabit the harsh landscape. Gazing across the windswept wilderness and feeling the isolation, it’s easy to believe in the supernatural.
There’s nowhere quite as beautiful & bewitching as Iceland.
An Invitation
I was invited by my good friend and fellow photographer Steven Rooney to join ..read more
