Honeywell announced its hydrocracking technology can be used to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from biomass, helping to make sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) that is 90% less carbon intensive than traditional fossil-based jet fuels. The new technology produces 3-5% more SAF, enables a cost reduction of up to 20%, and reduces by-product waste streams as compared to other commonly used hydroprocessing technologies. ANA Cargo shared that two live horses were transported from Narita to Hong Kong on a Boeing 777F aircraft in April. At the request of NIPPON EXPRESS GROUP, two horses entrusted by Spix were transported to Melbourne for breeding, and ANA was responsible for the transport between Narita – Hong Kong. The trade body formed to represent aviation ground services in the UK has announced that its membership now supports an estimated 70% of flights travelling to and from the UK.
