Would really appreciate any comments/opinion on this oval cut diamond. 0.9 F colour VS2. There seems to be some black spots and prominent bowtie in magnification? Or is this negligible once viewed in real life? https://reddit.com/link/g9y0j5/video/x8lsra936nv41/player submitted by /u/flqcwyxg [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Need recommendations

I’m looking for a tennis bracelet, but my budget is a little tight(around $500), I like the look of 4 prong tennis bracelets but I’m also open to other designs. I don’t mind lab diamonds(real carbon based diamonds made in a lab, NOT cubic zirconia). I’d like it to be about 6mm wide but I’m sure that’s not realistic with my budget, so I’m also open to sizes. Bracelet size should be 7.25 inches. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Largest total carat weight for 3 stone ring
Reddit | Diamond

Is there a limit to the total carat weight that can be done in a 3 stone setting? I have a 4 carat princess , two 1.5 carat princess cut and two 2.4 carat pear cut diamonds. All same color and clarity. Can I use some of these in a 3 stone setting? Or is that too much carat weight. Ring size is 5.75. submitted by /u/Optimal-Juice [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

What is your opinion on these two lab grown diamonds?

The size difference is because I’m not completely sure which size I want to go with her petite finger size. I don’t look at diamonds on an everyday basis, but I have done some reading and found these two. I greatly appreciate your help! https://www.cleanorigin.com/round-lab-created-diamond-a292d09d0f24/ https://www.cleanorigin.com/round-lab-created-diamond-46141a62007b/?qty=1 submitted by /u/thisIS4cereal [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Opinion: Tiny pear-shaped diamond ring from Blue Nile
Reddit | Diamond

Hi! This is much more casual than any engagement ring shopping. I've been looking for a simple diamond ring to wear with my other jewelry. This ring is on sale right now for $149.50: https://www.bluenile.com/mini-pear-shape-diamond-ring_71679?ringSize=7&track=rvslat&elem=2#ring-sizer It is a 0.10 carat diamond with a minimum color of I and clarity of I1 set in 14k white gold. Is this a good price? I looked into designing one, but I think it will look more like an engagement ring and cost more. Thank you so much for your input! submitted by /u/blerghblorft [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

HPHT vs CVD methods
Reddit | Diamond

Hi! I’ve been reading articles about the two lab methods but I’m looking for more anecdotal info. Does the method affect sparkle? Examples: CVD is my initially formed as a cube - does that make it easier to get an ideal cut? On the other hand, HPHT has more sides than a natural diamond so presumably it would them reflect even more light! CVD only produces type IIa diamonds..HPHT does not.. they are mostly not IIa and usually more yellow. But the general idea I gather from the info is that CVD is better but that people have a bias against it. Why? Thanks for any thoughts! submitted by /u/Some ..read more

Funny how Clean Origins and Ada Diamonds peeps are always here

Anyone else find it funny and annoying that u/amadeus62 (clean origins dude) constantly budging into the comments section trying to advertise themselves? Just had a brief scroll through amadeus62's posts as well and he loves throwing around VERY opinionated and misleading facts around. Dude. chill. (personal opinion you guys have horrible prices anyways... BlueNile destroys your lab diamond prices with their natural stones at higher specs in all 4c's. Can't wait to hear your immature misinforming comeback :P ) Peace submitted by /u/rad0ri [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
