My Mum made this delicious soup a few weeks ago, the recipe was in the Farro newsletter. Have you heard of laundry stripping? I hadn’t either until recently. Laundry stripping is a soaking method for removing minerals from hard water, body oils that have permeated clothes/towels/sheets, built up detergent/fabric softener and hard to shift grime. I’ve never given much thought to my wooden boards, apart from giving them a good wipe down with hot water at the end of the day and an occasional spray of Green Goddess Antibacterial Spray. A couple of boards are looking a bit discoloured so I went through our blogs and found these two methods for reviving them.
