The Lawson Academy is a single-gender charter school south of downtown Houston. The public charter serves middle school boys and girls separately with an engaging curriculum. With the COVID-19 pandemic, distributing school lunches and breakfast became a priority for the administration. Most students that attend The Lawson Academy are in low income families.
