The Europa Hotel in Belfast, Northern Ireland – part of the Hastings Hotels group – has completed a £10 million renovation programme for its guest bedrooms. 100 front-facing Superior bedrooms, 80 Classic bedrooms and five Suites have been completely redesigned and upgraded and now boast new furnishings and bathrooms, automated window blinds and individual air-conditioning. London Hilton on Park Lane has begun a multi-million pound refurbishment programme, which will mark the property’s 60th anniversary and is scheduled to be completed in September. The site, which was the first Hilton hotel to open in the UK, will undergo a top-to-bottom refurbishment, which is the most significant renovation since it first opened. The Kings Arms Hotel in the Lake District has reopened to the public following an extensive £500,000 refurbishment project. The 17th century coaching inn, located in Keswick town centre, closed its doors at the beginning of the year for seven weeks as it underwent a full ground-floor refurbishment. Milsoms Hotels and Restaurants has completed a major investment in F&B, with an extensive kitchen fit-out at its hotel in Dedham, Essex. The luxury hotel group, which comprises five properties in Essex and Suffolk, brought in Salix to update its kitchen at Milsoms in early January, with chefs and front-of-house teams working wonders with a temporary marquee kitchen situated on the terrace while the project was underway. Today, The Dorchester launches its brand new Cake & Flowers boutique, which boasts its own entrance on the Deanery Street corner of the hotel. Hotel group Ennismore has released a statement after the owner of NoMad hotels accused founder Sharan Pasricha of trying to “sabotage” a business deal, according to a lawsuit filed in New York.
