This year we are breaking up our breeding season half spring/half fall.  Spring Kidding is as follows:  Annah bred to George due 03/18/2022 with twins Zoey bred to Fella due 03/26/2022 with twins Emmy bred to George due 03/31/2022 with a single Mabel bred to Harry due 04/07/2022 with a single or possible twin  Available babies: Please email millermicrofarm@gmail.com with your needs. We will have buckling and doelings available  We will be retaining all black babies, 1st girl if Zoey has one, and possibly 1 other buckling.  All other babies will be available. We will ..read more

Our 1st Loss -A pain like no other

Carlie and Charlie We suffered a great loss this past Friday - One that hurt to the core, hard to take in air between the anguish and tears. We laid to rest sweet Charlie, our 1st baby boy born here. So many 1st Charlie brought us over the years. A staple of the farm, 1st to greet a guest, a friend, or a stranger. The 1st to knock you over for that special treat or premium piece of hay. The 1st to lay beside you for extra snuggles, loves, and warmth. The 1st loss of a goat for us. Having been so lucky not to have undergone this grief for so many years. Well this year unlike any other breeding season everyone has taken first try, so far. Which is amazing, however everyone will be due in March except one in April. It's going to be a crazy kidding season! This year's breeding season has gone very good thus far.  Here is how the girls are lining up and their due dates: Ginger due 03-09-20 This will be our first Ginger baby on the farm since she miscarried the two years prior. She has had two boys in the past under her old owner. Cami due 04-01-20 This will be her second freshening, she gave us a healthy happy bouncing baby girl last year (EmmyLou). Colors represent collar colors except Zoey who is white This year we will be breeding 5 does Ginger, Gizmo, Mabel, J.J, and Cami to Harry our (polled) herd sire.  Breeders: Ginger has been with us two years but suffered a miscarriage last year so we have never received a baby from her. We are hoping this year brings different results with a bouncing healthy baby.  Gizmo has also been with us two years and came to us bred her first year. Molly May - Joins The Farm

Miss Molly joined the farm shortly after 6pm Sunday, March 10th. JJ had a hard delivery and is taking extra time to heal. JJ is being a great mommy! Molly is a healthy, happy, polled (no horns naturally) little girl. She is very light in color and looks like her daddy. She will be our first baby that will carry the Miller Micro Farm name on her registration papers. Her name has a sentimental meaning as it was my great-grandmother's name. Therefore, we saved Molly for our first Miller doeling.  We hope to introduce Molly and Emmy within the next few days in hopes of bondi ..read more
