A man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a co- worker at a Gaslamp taco shop, the San Diego Police Department said Thursday. At 5:41 p.m. Wednesday, behind a taco shop at 800 5th Avenue, two employees got into an argument, SDPD Officer John Buttle said. “During the argument the suspect took out a knife and slashed the back of the victim and fled,” Buttle said. “The victim had a cut to his finger and about a 4-inch laceration to his back.” The 35-year-old victim was taken to a hospital and his injuries were not considered to be life threatening, the officer said. Zhi Gao, 22, was arrested last fall when he arrived at the woman’s door to pick up a package of cash, one of several she had handed over to scammers, prosecutors said.
