Note, this includes his one-offs and side stories that all take place in MAX continuity, including Fury: My War Gone By, Barracuda, The Tyger, The Cell, The Platoon, Soviet, the entirety of his 60 issue run on Punisher MAX concluding with Valley Forge, Valley Forge, and I assume it will include the upcoming 'Get Fury'. It does not include Jason Aaron's PunisherMAX or other one-off arcs and one-shots by other writers.
So, I think everyone's in agreement that Garth Ennis is basically the seminal Punisher writer. He has had the greatest impact on his modern-day depictions, modern-day understandi ..read more

I have five Uncanny X-Men omnibus of the Chris Clairmont run. Looking to get into something current as I’m reading back issues. I picked up Giant Size X-men 1 today with the story based on Angel. Is this a good starting point? I also saw there was a new X-men coming out in July. I also love Wolverine. Just not sure where to start.

I just had to say something about Giant-Size X-Men #1 (2024) which I feel is a total ripoff. It costs $6.99 ($3 more than a regular issue) and half of it is a reprint of Marvel Two-In-One #68. Oh, and just for icing on the cake, nowhere on the cover does it even say it includes a reprint.
I counted, and there's 20 pages of a new story, and the rest is the reprint.
I also counted X-Men #33 from a few weeks ago, and it's 20 pages as well.

I've been going to this local comic shop but it's very small and they normally sell out of all the best books immediately. No joke I was there at like 11:00 last wensday and they didn't have Poison Ivy or Shazam. The problem is I don't know how to talk to them to get a pull list going. Does it cost extrea money to do it? will they think I'm weird for it. I don't know I'm just worried in general and would like some advice.

I've never read comics before but I keep hearing great things about the ggpr and mmpr comics from Boom Studios. I've been looking into the reading order for these and I keep seeing different opinions. Most of them saying to start with mmpr to a certain point and then jump into ggpr for a bit, and keep jumping back and forth. Which is really confusing me. Wouldn't I want to start with the ggpr series since it's a prequel to the mmpr?
