It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the closing of my studio. There is no question that 2020 has been challenging and I’ve had to make some very difficult decisions. I could easily get into a long emotional post about what all of you have meant to me and how honored I have been in sharing so many special moments for so many families, but I’m really trying to keep it together while I write this. It’s hard to believe it’s already been 2.5 months since I had to close my studio. Looking back, I thought for sure that by June 1st things would be back to “normal”. And now, I’m not so sure we will ever get back there, at least to how we once knew it. Per the state orders, I am not able to operate at this point and they aren’t quite sure yet where photography studios will fall in terms of stages of opening. IMPORTANT FOR APRIL SESSIONS: Update on current status of the studio. Yesterday our governor issued the following order:  AUGUSTA, Maine — Gov. Janet Mills has issued a stay-at-home order for the state of Maine. The order, which requires that Mainers must remain at home unless they need to leave for an essential job or essential activity, goes into effect at midnight on April 2 and lasts until April 30. Definitions of essential businesses and activities remain the same from her March 24 executive order.
