THOUSANDS of Earthquake affected Nepalese school children thought Santa came early, with an Australian entrepreneur spending his Christmas rebuilding a local school computer lab.
The Give a Laptop founder, Ryan Saville visited the Himalayas last month to set up laptops donated by Australians as part of a bigger plan to re-build a computer lab destroyed by the quake.

Indigenous students at the Murri School in Brisbane have received ready-to-use notebook computers donated by BHP and facilitated by G1’s Tech to Country laptop donation program.
These laptops were provided to Year 12 students to enable them to complete their schooling year in the wake of COVID-19 school closures.
With much of each student’s coursework moving to remote delivery during the coronavirus outbreak, sufficient access to technology is critical.
