The beauty of nature – winner – Green Light Forest A mountain path through a forest is illuminated by a multitude of ‘sparkling’ fireflies, giving the landscape an almost fairytale atmosphere. The insects’ bioluminescence is part of the mating ritual, at the end of which the eggs are laid. Pollution hinders the reproduction of fireflies, and it is increasingly difficult to see shows like this one.
