What is the sexual object and "ultimate pleasure" for women?

For a man it is the penis and the excretion of the sexual product. What is it for the woman? Given that women are naturally repulsed by male genitals and that the vagina being penetrated is not desirable for a woman as it is anesthetized does this leave the clitorus as the primary source of stimulation? submitted by /u/JeremyCuntIMeanHunt [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi, Wondering if anyone has challenged this (recently or in the past) and is willing to share their insights? Did every joint/body area get involved into each station? How much of a deep dive into theoretical knowledge was there compared to practical skill/clinical reasoning? Study tips, depths of questions and any advice for preparation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Potato33 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey, I recently completed my 12th (I guess that's jr high). I am in trouble over should I do physio or not. Firstly I do have my interests in it. Unlike other med fields this got me the first time I read about it and it still has my eyes. I am all about doing it but I have my questions. 1) People on this sub really don't like it. Most of them have told me that it's hectic, no respect with little pay job. Is it though? 2) Those who did it or are doing it, do you regret it? Would you suggest someone interested in physio to go for it? 3) Does this have carreer in India? Can Indian physio tell me ..read more

Landing a job in my country (Kenya )has been a significant challenge. Since the beginning of the year, I've been confined to my home, tirelessly submitting job applications without any return communication. This silence is becoming increasingly disheartening. I am eager to take on data entry tasks, including recording patient histories or arranging appointments for occupied physical therapists, to keep myself active and contribute meaningfully. I would deeply appreciate any advice or job leads. submitted by /u/Impress-Limp [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello all! I am developing an online physiotherapy business. While I am confident it is a strong idea, one of the problem areas I have identified relates to customer generation, particularly in the initial stages. Does anyone have experience with this with their own project? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks! submitted by /u/3duckspeckinggrass [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

In the USA, is there like an 'entry-level' sports medicine certification program?

I train with and help manage a semi-pro/competitive amateur soccer team. I'm in my 40s now so I've kind of become the unofficial team trainer - wrapping ankles, handing out ice and heat, and just generally managing player injuries and health based on the fact I've broken myself in countless ways over 40 years of playing and have a general understanding of rehab and diet. I have a good career in an unrelated field, but I would like to pursue some kind of sports medicine education without having to go to a university. Does that exist in the US, outside of a personal trainer certification? subm ..read more

English isn't my native language so please let me know if you don't understand anything. I fell off my bike and the soft tissues of my right elbow got damaged. 6 months had passed and I still couldn't lift weights more than 1kg using my right hand. I was doing internship at a clinic where I met a physiotherapist. I told the physiotherapist that I couldn't lift weights even after 6 months. The physiotherapist told me to sit on a chair and she grabbed my forearm. She pressed some area on the forearm forcefully. The area was on the opposite side of the elbow not sure what it's called. I asked he ..read more

Fellow ex-scientists who career-changed into Physiotherapy in the UK, how is it going?

Hi everyone, After years of considering and dreaming of becoming a physiotherapist I finally took the step to apply to study a pre-reg course in Physiotherapy here in the UK. However, now that I have finally gotten a place at a uni that I like at a city that I like too, I'm starting to overthink this decision and wondering if I am making the right choice for my future. I left uni in 2020 with a Masters in Chemistry, and I currently work as a research scientist in cancer diagnostics with a salary that is not too bad (£31K a year) either. However, after 3 years working here I have consistently ..read more
