Hello, we’ve been playing squash every weekend for the last two months. It’s my partners birthday and I’ve ordered him a racket.
I’ve done some research about the weight as I haven’t a clue.
I ordered this for him, thoughts? I wanted to get a decent racket instead of paying £15 for a bad one.
Any recommendations or suggestions if I should change my order?
He’s 6ft if that helps.

Hi!
On the squash page on wikipedia it says the double yellow dot was introduced in 2000. But I'd love to get a hold of more info. Why was it introduced? The single yellow dot used before, is it equivalent to the single yellow dot we have today? All and any info about this would be much appreciated.

Hi all,
I'm just getting back into squash with my partner (we're both novices) and I'm looking to get some goggles for us both. Could someone recommend a relatively cheap pair for us to get? We can always upgrade later if we find we're really into it and are playing all the time. We're based in the UK.
Thanks very much!

I’ve been playing squash for the best part of twenty years now and am a throughly average club player. I play in our club’s 2nd Team and have a squash level of about 1100 points.
One of the biggest issues I consistently have is failing to close out games in which I’ve asserted myself as the dominant player. Tonight I lost a 5 setter 15-13 in the 5th after initially being 8-1 up in that final game. This is definitely the worst case of this I’ve encountered but I have a track record of failing to close out games I really should win. Strangely enough tonight I didn’t even feel that I played all ..read more

I was reading the thread on squash earnings. I would like make a point that the popularity of squash is not entirely down to organizations and tournament sponsors etc. It is our job to boost the sport!
Be active, if everyone gets one friend involved in the sport and then they get one etc... it's a snowball effect. The sponsors and money will come when we show enthusiasm around the tournaments, player and the sport in social media.
We have squash in LA 2028, let hike things up and make every bit out of it..

As title says. I change strings pretty much every 2-3 months beacuse they are breaking, no matter which i try (and my stringer always do them in the "middle" so not like they break beacuse of max tension). I am not particularly hard hitter, i have kind of mixed playstyle, with a lot of lobs, drops and trying to play more technical squash. My rackets are always in bag in my flat so not like they are in cold car. My latest racket ( Karakal S-Pro Elite 2.0) had string breaking just yesterday, only after 1 or so month of playing. I play around 5 hours a week.
So my question is, is this normal or ..read more
