Hello, I'm a pretty tall dude that has a skill level to catch most balls off the drive. However, its difficult to do so when I play against hard hitters. Any solutions?

I've recently taken up squash and am thoroughly enjoying it. A friend and I play twice a week, and he's likely rated around 2.6, making him a valuable player for me to learn from. However, there's one aspect of his play that I find frustrating. Occasionally, he'll hit the ball slowly so that it dies, but he does so in a way that it returns to him, obstructing my ability to reach it. I've argued that this should be considered a LET, but he insists it's a legitimate strategy.
So, who's correct?

Hi,
I have been playing squash for fun occasionally for the last 3 years (perhaps once every week). Whenever I play it I take one of the available rackets in the sports center where I book the court. I tried a friend's racket a couple of days ago that got me thinking about buying a racket for me.
I am trying to decide which of these rackets would fit me the best, as they are both with a great discount:
Dunlop Hotmelt Pro Squash Racket (48£)
Prince Nitro Pro Squash Racket (60£)
Can you give me your insight on which should I end up buying?

What are you doing to get better at squash, especially if you aren’t at a club with many players of your standard? I think I need to do the following to improve:
30min solo hitting (drives with movement, volleys, drops off either foot) Training session - standard routines, conditioned game to finish 2 games - at least one being difficult 20 mins ghosting 5k run

sometimes I see asal changing grip when responding to backhand from a forehand grip, is this shift in the open forehand grip -> open backhand grip an employed tactic?

I just got hit square in the eye playing squash. The ball hit me quite fast, but to my surprise it does not hurt at all, and I have no blurry vision etc.. just feels like nothing happened. Is this normal? Or am I incredibly lucky? Should I expect a black eye in the morning, even with no pain?

Has anyone on here tried the new head radical 135 in the 20x16 string pattern ? Or have a picture of one strung in that pattern.
I’m looking to swap rackets from the Dunlop ultimates ive been using for years in the clussic 16x19 pattern , but surprisingly not many traditional shaped rackets have that dense a string pattern. Dunlop ultimates are I think one of the only brands that do, head do make the radical 135x now which is actually 16x19 but the shape of the head upsets me. I quite fancy giving the afp a go with the 20x16 but can find very little info on the rackets and no real evidence of ..read more
