Fighting Parkinson’s, and I am looking forward to…final part

In my two previous “I am looking forward to” blog posts, we discussed the introductory phrase, “I am looking forward to” as a way to move forward in a positive manner, and then taking action to bring to fruition what it is that you are looking forward to occurring in your life. Today, we add in the final part, gratitude. Here we go. The Final Part — Gratitude. The mind wants to judge how well you are doing something, and generally, it will tell you that whatever you are doing, it is not as good as you used to do it. That way of thinking is living in the past and is useless and detrimental in ..read more

In part 1, I explained, “When you think of the introductory phrase, “I am looking forward to” and you review when in life you have used this phrase, almost always, it is used to express excitement about something in the future that you know will occur.” Today we will discuss how positive action on your part is necessary to bring it to fruition. I gave this example two weeks ago: A concert is nearly sold out and you are able to get tickets. This prompts, “I am looking forward to going to the concert.” On the day of the concert, it is necessary for you to take positive action to manifest the en ..read more

GAIL W. IS SYMPTOM FREE HAVING FOLLOWED THE PARKINSON’S RECIPE FOR RECOVERY® FOR FOUR MONTHS!!! Congratulations, Gail!!! You did it!!! In November of 2023, I received an email from a woman named Gail. Here is some of what she had to say: “My name is Gail, I’m 63 and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease less than two weeks ago.  My grandfather had Parkinson’s, and I have a cousin who was diagnosed four years ago and has just been admitted to a nursing home with dementia. I found your book online and read it over the weekend.  I’m grasping for hope but all I seem to be doing is cryi ..read more

Sally and I thank you for all of the wonderful sentiments and birthday wishes to Sally’s mother from the previous blog post. Today, we will review again positive self-fulfilling prophecies and how to help them manifest in your life. In the past, I have discussed having positive self-fulfilling prophecies in your life as opposed to negative self-fulfilling prophecies. A couple of days ago, I was discussing this with our fellow warrior, John in New Jersey, and he suggested that it would be helpful to share the information with all of you as well. Here is an excerpt from a previous blog post: “C ..read more

This is 2024…the Year of Knowing! Today is Sally’s Mother’s 90th birthday. Happy 90th Birthday Mother!!! I have been writing this blog for nearly 14 years. During this time, I have been trying to keep a positive message of faith and hope, but occasionally somebody may express concern that maybe it is false hope. I might as well address it right here today for everybody. I went to Google and typed in false hope. The number 1 listing was Wikipedia, and here is what it had to say. “Hope is the belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one’s life.” “The term false hope refers to a hope based entirely around a fantasy or an extrem ..read more

Fighting Parkinson’s, and your knowingly positive ripple effect

I announced 2024 as the year of knowing. Positive knowing was instrumental in my recovery and in my continuing to have a joyful life. Today, I want to explain the ripple effect of what you have been creating as you have been growing the affirmations from believing to knowing. Suppose you are sitting on a small platform in the middle of a pond. It is a very calm day with no breeze and the water is still like glass. If you drop a single pebble in the pond, it will create a ripple that eventually will die down and the water will go back to looking like glass again. Let’s say that the pebble is t ..read more

On January 1st, I posted that 2024 is the year of knowing. As we move forward together in 2024, I will help you elevate the “knowing” aspects of your recovery so that you may relax into knowing that your full recovery will occur some day in the future. The affirmations that you have been copying and pasting from the end of the previous blog posts are truthful statements to help un-seat almost everybody’s first impression of Parkinson’s, which was: dead brain cells, depleted dopamine, cannot slow, cannot halt, cannot reverse, cannot cure, cannot win. For nearly a year, everybody on this blog h ..read more

On January 1st, I posted that 2024 is the year of knowing. As we move forward together in 2024, I will help you elevate the “knowing” aspects of your recovery so that you may relax into knowing that your full recovery will occur some day in the future. About a year ago, near the beginning of 2023, the year of change, I made a change on the blog comments. I encouraged a copying and pasting of specific affirmations. There was a method to my madness. Years ago, I had learned that a first impression is powerful and that it takes consistent truthful information contrary to a first impression to “u ..read more
