I just got back from New Orleans. I was out there teaching the students about our program and the importance of speaking up. St. Christopher’s should be so proud of how their students acted at the assembly. I have been speaking on bullying in schools for over 13 years and St. Christopher’s school and students were the best I have ever spoken in front of. Wow so respectful. We then headed of to Orange Texas where I receive the same respect. This is my second time to Orange Texas and Doctor Smith has done an amazing job with that entire school board. It looks like I may be heading back to Orange ..read more

At the end of April reportbullying.com expert Jim Jordan will be teaching students and parents about bullying and how to create a safe and motivating school environment.  We know bullying happens in every school but the biggest problem we have is so many people think everything is bullying. Our presentations teach students, teachers and parents exactly what bullying is and what our role is to reduce bullying in their school and community. So what is our role as a bystander? What is our role as a parent? What is our role as a teacher when someone speaks up? All this and much more will be r ..read more

One day two giraffes were talking.   One giraffe said to the other giraffe, “Why do we have such long necks?”  The second giraffe replied, “So we can reach the leaves at the top of trees.”   Still curious, the giraffe asked, “Why do we have such long legs?”    His fellow giraffe friend answered; “so we can see far away if there are any areas of danger.”  Since he was getting the answers, he decided to ask another question; “Why do we have spots on us?” “That is to camouflage us” the other giraffe replied.  The first giraffe said “That’s good in ..read more

How to reduce bullying in schools
Reportbullying Blog

From our Reportbullying.com survey statistics on the topic of bullying, many of us have a myopic view. We tend to say, “It’s a bully problem. No, it’s a school problem. No, it’s a parent problem. No, it’s a teacher problem.” We think we know the problem because we are always looking in the same place, from the same angle. It’s like having four windows in your house with everyone looking out of the same window and seeing the same things happening in a particular area. This makes everyone think they understand what the problem is. When people are fixated on a certain problem, they tend to look o ..read more

Students can report bullying in real time, actually they can report anything like bullying, harassment, intimidation, weapons just to name a few. once they press send it works like messenger. The principal can respond immediately to ask for more information. Students can also upload videos or pictures for their report. So no more filling out line by line to report something. This program is completely anonymous so it makes reporting easier for students. Students will feel free to report without the worry of others ..read more

Stats show Bullying is getting worse

New statistics are out showing that bullying is getting worse in schools. This doesn’t surprise me because when i first started speaking on bullying 13 years ago i would receive 5 to 10 calls a day to come and speak at their school. over the past 3 years the amount of schools interested in having a speaker has dropped dramatically. Just like any subject schools seem to hit it hard and then move onto another subject. Is that wrong? NO but the problem is schools need to keep up on bullying because bullying will always occur in every school. St. Micheal’s school in Toronto just had a horrific bul ..read more

Looking for an anti bullying speaker that actually makes a difference? At reportbullying.com we offer a proactive approach to reducing bullying by focusing on education and the role of the bystanders.
