Discovery: In all the listening I've done at Sharp Nine, I don't recall tunes by contemporary trumpeters Marquis Hill & Ambrose Akinmusire being highlighted. Trumpeter Eric Wiliams led his quintet through those & more, his longish solos penetrating the mood, percussion, & rhythm of the other four players.
