Optimum Life Re’s analysis of the ExamOne model suggests that prediction modeling may increase hepatitis B detection by a factor of 2.5 at comparable levels of testing. Excessive alcohol use was responsible for about 178,000 deaths in the United States each year during 2020–2021, or 488 deaths per day. The CDC reports that this was a 29% increase from 2016–2017 and makes alcohol one of the leading preventable causes of death in the United States. High total cholesterol doubles the risk of heart disease, the leading cause of death in the United States. By narrowing the arteries and reducing the flow of oxygen-rich blood, high cholesterol can also lead to strokes. Take your meds. No heavy physical activity. No food after bedtime (fasting) if there is a blood draw. These are typical instructions given prior to physician checkup and a life insurance exam. No breakfast probably isn’t a huge deterrent for your morning doctor’s appointment. Adding A1c on your life insurance panel eliminates the need for fasting and allows applicants to select appointments times th ..read more
