Building a tech startup is no longer the primary way to build a business. Individual creators are taking over, without needing an office space or a hefty marketing budget. From their little desk in their little room from the middle of nowhere, they are creating content and products that generate more business than by those companies with an army of employees. We want to promote the spirit of..

The Quality of Your Productivity Depends on Your Recovery Image created by author using Midjourney
Sage Rountree is an English literature PhD holder and a specialist in yoga for athletes.
In her book The Athlete’s Guide to Recovery, she said, “A decline in performance should lead to a search for its cause and to a focus on the quality of your recovery. Remember, often doing less is more powerful than training more.”

These rock-solid mental shifts are needed in today’s world Photo by Marina Vitale on Unsplash
Everything I knew about entrepreneurship changed after that call.
Startups and founders are often glorified and glamorized as Patagonia vest-wearing, 5 am runners who drink green smoothies and fly in private jets.
This skewed (false) flashy image of entrepreneurship has ruined it for us.
Almost every founder I know has fallen for this trap of raising and faking it till you, eventually (if at all), make it.
Zero emphasis is given to your mental health.
I was in a simi ..read more

Set in motion what could one day become a full-time career. Photo by Nicole Wolf on Unsplash
I started writing online without realizing it could blossom into a full-fledged career that would allow me to live my dream life.
It all began with writing answers on Quora in 2014, followed by long-form articles on Medium in 2020. Back then, not many people were into content creation, so I had the early-mover advantage:
Got 1000+ new followers every day
Received 100k+ views, thousands of upvotes and comments.
Bagged top writer badges on Medium and Quora.
Fast forward to 2024, the ..read more

Multitasking has been a blessing for my career until now
"I should do the dishes."
While listening to the Rich Rolling podcast with Carl Newport, the author of Deep Work, my devil mind triggered my multitasking brain cells.
But it was such a lovely podcast that I didn't Want to leave the couch and do the dishes. The water splash would make me miss out on some parts. After contemplating for 15 minutes. I postponed the dishes for later.
I couldn't multitask. I have been multitasking my whole life but can't multitask anymore.
It initially freaked me out but left me with a who ..read more

Why Do We Pay For — And Then Ignore — Professional Advice? We spend fortunes on lawyers, accountants, and doctors only to disregard their counsel. Why? Photo by Christina @ wocintechchat.com on Unsplash
I was talking to my parents the other day. They’re house-rich boomers who recently retired after several hard decades spent as members of the working class. As a result, they’ve got a little bit of (well-earned) wealth. Along with that wealth, they’ve accumulated a small cadre of professionals who advise them on how to handle their various assets: a lawyer for my dad’s small company ..read more

Be the reason for someone's smile Photo by Juan Vargas
I read a quote today by Pope Francis, and I am in love with that quote:
“Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit; the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is…life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you.” — Pope Francis
Life is a journey to help each other in the process and many times that help also comes ..read more

It’s more than just Italy Photo by Hrvoje_Photography ?? on Unsplash
Several years ago, villages scattered around Italy began offering homes for as little as €1.
This was more of a token sum for formerly abandoned homes in population-declining communities.
The overall quality of the homes varied wildly, from properties needing serious, but manageable, renovations, to homes with little more than four walls.
Other than putting down a refundable deposit guaranteeing the homes would be habitable by an established end date, there were few catches to be had. And the scheme paid o ..read more
