Hi all I got my quest couple weeks ago been playing mostly on device games because my pc doesn't have any USB C connector.
However yesterday I got to try USB C to USB 3.0 adapter with link cable and some games play very smooth but when I run No Man Sky the whole machine goes crazy, my pc starts using all its CPU and GPU even with lowest settings. Oculus software detects the cable as valid when I test it but I am not sure if this is caused by the cable as it can handle up to 2.4gbps. It might be but I am not sure .
My issue is when I run the same game on steam link via WIFI I can even run it o ..read more

So I at least "was" a VR enthusiast last generation. My setup was a mixed HP Reverb G2 with knuckles/lighthouses (which I still have). I also had a Quest 2, and tried numerous headsets but the Reverb G2 is what really wowed me.
I stopped doing VR as much because of the lack of new content. I vastly prefer singleplayer experiences. Like many, Half-Life Alyx brought me back into VR but spoiled me and, I'm sure, many others. I thought we would get more stuff like that. I've been out of the game for a couple years so my knowledge may be out of date.

So I’ve recently been playing pcvr games and have been wanting to upgrade from the quest two, does anyone have any solid pcvr headsets that go for around 500-600? I was originally just going to get a quest 3 but I feel I’d be better off getting a pc dedicated system but I’m not really all that sure?♂️ any information would be great?

its as the title says, but to be more specific my pc ran it just fine like 10 minutes ago as of posting now its flat out not working with my headset, the main issue is that i load in on my headset and i get probably less than a frame a second and then if i manage to load a game it just freezes on my headset, the only issue i could think of is my link cable but thats about it can i get some help please

Would you be interested in purchasing clothes that offer a virtual reality experience? If not, why? We are very curious as to why some people are not willing to be part of this technological development ?

I understand some vr company’s are great like Owlchemy Labs but the majority are not. I think having gamepad support for VR games would solve a lot of issues too. Some of my friends are disabled and don’t have range of arm motion.
