A non-skydiver friend of mine who has made one tandem made this for her bus around Christmas since they decorate their busses. I told her I’d buy it from her when Xmas was over if she was willing to sell it.
Totally forgot about it, then she remembered and brought it to me since she was going to be in the area.
Unpacked it today just to test it out. LOL. It’s awesomely funny

I’m completing my license soon and was wondering if a poised exit is required for hop n pops. I feel more stable on dive exits but I could see how dumping head down may cause issues.

I'm comparing sizes of two Vectors (V344 and V310 Micron). The only difference is that one has Optimum 160 listed as a "standard fit" and the other one has it as a "full fit". I don't plan to downsize my reserve - it will always be Optimum 160. Does it make any difference whether I go with a "full" fit or a "standard" fit?

I just bought a Brilliant Pebbles audible and when I opened the package there were 2 starburst included. Was this a mistake? Or is there some skydiving relation with starburst? Or are they being nice lol? I’m fairly new to the sport so apologies if this is an inside joke I’m unaware of

It was amazing. I jumped near where I live in Vegas and now I see myself adding jumps to future vacations as a bonus to experience amazing views. I met a lady who had completed 12 jumps, this was her 13th. She said Colorado and Dubai were her all-time favorites. I feel like I can overcome any fear. I feel like I can trust myself to make decisions more confidently. I feel like the time before the jump was my old life and the time after has given me an undeniable perspective shift about my priorities and the power of changing intense beliefs by challenging them. Thank you to everybody in this c ..read more

This summer I'll be traveling to Southeast Asia and some surrounding countries. I'll be going from Japan to Australia to Bali to The Philippines to Vietnam to Thailand (to Singapore to Hong Kong*).
Of these locations, I've found that Australia has a large number of reputable DZs, and Thailand has a few as well. I was hoping that I could stretch my AFF out over jumps in all the aforementioned countries, but my Japanese itinerary doesn't allow for this and from my investigation, the only DZ in Bali has gone silent, the only DZ in Vietnam hasn't opened yet, and the only seemingly legitimate DZs ..read more

After a LOT of thought, I decided not to continue with AFF. It was a very difficult decision. My first jump was absolutely amazing but I decided I want to focus my money on traveling since that is my main passion. I’m heading out west this Fall and am planning on doing a tandem at the Grand Canyon and I’ll also be going to Hawaii on that trip and will do a tandem there too. Do you guys know of any other DZs out west that have some beautiful scenery, like maybe California?
