The holiday shopping season is upon us, and we're sending this reminder that Tom Gray Pottery is open for business; the shelves are well stocked with decorative and functional pottery.
We'll be open the weekend before Thanksgiving (Saturday, November 19, and Sunday, November 20) from 9:00 – 5:00. We will be closed on Thanksgiving and probably a couple of days around Thanksgiving so we can spend time with family. You may contact us at 336-267-7030 during Thanksgiving week to check that we're here before you head our way.
Until Christmas, we'll be open Mondays thru Saturdays from 10:00 - 5 ..read more

I have been slack in updating this page! My apologies!
We have reopened the studio/gallery, and are now open 10-5, Tuesday through Saturday. Keep in mind, just like any other folks, we do have to close occasionally for doctor’s appointments, and etc. With that in mind, if you are coming from some distance it might be wise to call ahead of time to make sure we are here.
Just call 1-336-873-8270 or email tomgrayseagrove@gmail.com in advance.
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Dear Friends and Family,
Thankfully, 2021 has been far better than 2020! Nothing has caught on fire, and nothing has fallen on any of our vehicles, and we have both been well. Since last October, we have been open by appointment, and the concept seems to be working well for our customers and us. Hopefully, soon, we will be able to gather together maskless without fear of contagion.
This year, we are taking part in the Celebration of Seagrove Potters Studio Tour, a self-guided tour of our shops and galleries, on the weekend of November 19, 20, and 21. Appointments are not necessary this we ..read more

Dear Friends, Family, and Pottery Lovers!
We have recovered, for the most part, from the fire back in July, and have begun putting pots on the shelves again. Little Bertha, my most recent kiln build, is half the size of my old car kiln, AKA Big Bertha, but we're happy to be producing pots again, even if on a smaller scale.
Although we doubt this Christmas will be like any Christmas we can ever remember, we are doing our best to make sure anyone who wants our pottery will be able to find something they like in the shop. We regularly post new images on handmadeinseagrove.com and instagram.com/tg ..read more

We are busy preparing for whatever this Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year brings! Little Bertha is firing today, full of ramen bowls, custom dinnerware, cruets, mugs, teabowls and more, as we make ready for the season. As you can see in the image, we now have a new roof over the kilns! Thanks to New Earth Fabricators for fitting us in, and for their high quality craftsmanship!
Don’t forget, if you would like to make an appointment, please call ahead of time at 336-873-8270. When you get here, mask up, sanitize your hands at the counter, and enter no more than 2 at a time.

Dear Friends, Family, and Pottery Lovers,
When I look back on my history lessons and my personal experiences, I would never have thought I would ever see a time like this one. But, here we are, in the middle of a global pandemic, trying to figure out how to not only stay alive, but how to continually move forward in a sensible and reasonable way.
Jane and I have made major adjustments as to how we conduct our business, and we are continually looking into alternatives to face-to-face transactions. For me, having spent the last 42 years interacting with my customers in my retail shop has been on ..read more
