We have quite the reputation with college students at ASU. So we are over the moon, to get the same amount of attention from University of Michigan!
The fall semester starts back up in September for Ann Arbor, but foodie influencer, Ahad Khan, from @Michigan.Foodie, got a head start to scope out (what we hope) will be Michigan's trendiest new drink and study spot.
As a university student, Ahad felt the immediate hospitaliTEA that our baristas have to offer everyone who walks through our doors. Before you stop by our newest location, ready what this foodie has to say about our drinks!

When we set up shop in Ann Arbor, the communiTEA was super welcoming! We love all the Midwest locals and the unique creative/music scene in A2. It's close to the University of Michigan, and Teaspressa gets the privilege of serving drinks to some pretty cool people in this Michigan YUPPY town.
Immediately, we found some foodie influencers that blew us away with their content, so we decided to collaborate with one of the best - Small Girl, Fat Appetite (aka Sumra Abedi).
This gal was listed first on the "8 Instagram Accounts Every Foodie in Ann Arbor Needs to Follow." @smallgirl.fatappetite was ..read more

Q: What’s your background in the tea industry?
A: My background has mainly been a personal one. Being British, tea is very much part of my everyday life and it was only when I came to the US in 2015 that I realized exactly how much. I slowly moved away from drinking tea with milk as dairy products tasted different to me, and explored more into different blends. American friends would ask me to go to afternoon tea or advise on different types which led me to The Tea Rose and wanting to share my knowledge and enjoy the tea tasting experience with others.

Q: What's your background in the tea industry?
A: First, I’m a life-long tea drinker. I grew up having tea with my parents and grandparents. In the afternoon, a cup of tea and a nibble of something sweet was a lovely way to gather together and relax. I have fond memories of sitting at the table with the grown-ups, feeling like my input was just as important as theirs.
Second, I love working in tea! Both tea professionals and clients have been extremely warm and friendly. I’ve been blogging about tea since 2010. Expressing my passion for tea through my writing has been a pricel ..read more

Q: What’s your background in the tea industry?
A: Aside from being a self-proclaimed teaaholic since I was about 7 years old, I am also a tea blogger and author. For the past 7 years, I’ve been writing the award winning tea blog, The Cup of Life, where I share my steeped stories, tea infused recipes, crafts and tea tips to show the world just how wonderful and versatile the beverage of tea truly is.
I wrote and published my first book, Tea-spiration: Inspirational Words for Tea Lovers, in November 2016. It celebrates all of the (big and small) moments we experience with tea. There are tim ..read more

Q: What’s your background in the tea industry?
A: I don't have a formal background in the tea industry, but I have loved tea for as long as I can remember. I got my first tea set when I was 3 or 4, and used to pour little cups of tea in the yard for my stuffed animals. My mom and I would make sun tea in a large jug on hot days. As I grew older, I got a job in a cafe, where I had an endless supply of both tea and coffee to sustain me. Tea got me through three cold Massachusetts winters and a stint working in an over-air-conditioned high rise. Now, I collect vintage tea cups and try to keep ..read more
