Sabfoil mini tuttle T03K

My 2020 Wizard 125 Foil Board uses the Chinook Tuttle Foil box, which is advertised as deep tuttle but is not deep enough by about 1cm. So a deep tuttle foil head will not fully seat in the Chinook box and stand about 1cm proud. Because the Sabfoil deep tuttle adapter TK04 is an open frame type construction, it cannot be cut down to fit without seriously compromising the strength of the tuttle connection. Does anyone have any experience using the mini tuttle connection as shown in image attached? Not sure how deep the mini tuttle is, but it is the only option Sab has to fit and they sell ..read more

I’m considering buying a Honda Fit (Honda Jazz in Europe) and a deal killer for me is if I can’t fit a windsurf board in the car. Has anyone on this subreddit ever fit their windsurf board into a Honda fit? Thanks in advance for your replies! submitted by /u/MarinerBlue [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Recommend me a Euro windsurf trip

Can you recommend a spot for a Euro windsurf trip this year? Not really been to any windsurf centres abroad before so looking for advice on what one to choose. I'm an improver, planning comfortably and working on getting my first gybes. Ideally need flat water and wind certainty. We got a total budget of £1000pp including kit hire. So far considered Dakhla but it looks to be dominated by kites, not the strongest wind and a bit over budget. Any suitable alternatives? Cheers! submitted by /u/Ordinary-Cook9767 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Saving a rig that detached from the board

Last time, I was in a tricky situation when my mast base broke before the safety rope. I was not too far off the shore, and I (very lucky) managed to lift my rig on the board and swim back to shore with all my equipment. I was with a 120L freeride board so there was enough space on the board's deck. I'm just wondering: How do you deal with such a situation? I assume a rig will sink to the bottom of the sea, so any tips on not losing the entire rig are welcomed. submitted by /u/vi_ncz [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
