Does anyone know what the oldest Bible we have access to is? Of any religion doesn’t matter or any ideas. Also is it true the Vatican has chapters from the Bible hidden from us? If so how do we know they have that hidden? submitted by /u/waitinguscics [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Circumcision an absolute requirement for entrance to heaven?

I recently started to go to church and I started reading the bible as well. In Genesis 17, it states that an uncircumcised man will be cut off from God as you have broken his Covenant. Well. I'm 38 y/o and not circumcised. I wanted to ask my pastor this but I am apprehensive due to it being such a sensitive and personal subject. At least on here it is somewhat anonymous. So my question is, do I need to be circumcised in this modern age to still have a Covenant with God and enter heaven(if I am lucky enough)? submitted by /u/Joshicus_Justinian [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Can An English Translation of the Holy Bible be Inspired?

Dallas Theological Seminary is a non-denominational evangelical seminary in Dallas, Texas, with satellite campuses worldwide. It is the seventh-largest seminary in the U.S. Its statement of faith restricts divine inspiration to the 'original manuscripts.' This is a common statement of faith in most seminaries and denominations today. Limiting the divinely inspired scripture to the original manuscripts, implicitly excludes the Bible we have today from being divinely inspired and without error. The original writings no longer exist. No copies of the originals nor any English translation meet th ..read more

“But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” (mk. 3:33) After Jesus foretell His cruixificion and death, Peter began to counsel Him against such cruel fate out of love not knowing that Satan is taking advantage of His love to prevent the grandeur purpose of God- humanity freedom from sins and Satan’s control. Like Peter, most of our prayer points are against the trials which God, himself, forged to bend us into His grandeur purpose for our lives. However, like ..read more

What do you guys think of these verses? I'm 14 and live in a very loving, Christian home. I'm definitely not perfect; none of us are, but I wanted to see what the community thought of these verses. I don't believe whatever I hear and I don't accept whatever I'm told. I want to know what your thoughts are though. I've also sent messages to trusted family members and I'm awaiting a response. Matthew 21:31-32 31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiv ..read more

Shortly after October 7, Susan Sarandon gave a speech saying that she wanted Jews to be afraid again. She's currently supporting the Columbia University Nazis. Roger Waters denied that October 7 happened and railed against Bono for observing a moment of silence for Hamas' victims. Eric Clapton, racist shitbird, is receiving praise from the leftists who are cool with his racism and conspiracy babbling as long as he talks shit about Israel. https://marlowe1.substack.com/p/happy-pesach-holiday-extra submitted by /u/Just-Internet4780 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
