I took a couple days off of work before I left for the 127 Yard Sale, which occurred last week.  I planned to just relax and run a few errands before leaving for 9 days of awesome junking -- pictures will come sometime soon. It has taken me so long to get all these pictures because I bought SO MUCH stuff during the US 40 Yard Sale this year.  The above picture were my Day 1 finds. A rusty crusty wheelbarrow for $5?  Who can turn that down? Another cooler for my collection.  It currently resides on my front porch. This was Day 2, when everything was still boxed.  It also includes 2 items not pictured below: an old red rocking motel chair and big heavy white door. But, I'll never tire of seeing photos of what I'm calling... The. Most. Epic. Yard. Sale. Ever. Period. Hands down. Bar none. We had our first truly nice weekend this past weekend!  I went around town to a few garage sales that had popped up and I was not disappointed.   No wild and crazy junkin stories for you this time, just a few pics for you. This cool Pan-Am zippered tote. Large enamel tray, blue aluminum ice mold, mini tonka truck, and a thermos in original box Styrofoam can coolers from a local university. Books from a church rummage sale. Always pick up old cookbooks! Now starts a theme! I found a lot of vintage Christmas, including some books. And stockings And lots of li ..read more
