RECENT INJURY A little over a week ago at this point, I was fishing in the local inlet down the road from where I live. I'm not much of an ocean fisherman and much prefer to fish lakes. It was something to do with the sunshine out. The fish weren't plentiful but did pull in a few. Unfortunately, just some dirty bottom feeding catfish. It's Saturday night, I'm laying in bed @ 8:30 writing this blog. My throat has been sore for 4 or 5 days now and I've only had temporary relief when I utilize some throat numbing cough drops. Feels like it's been raining non-stop since I've gotten into the Northeast part of the United States. I spent an hour going 5 miles in North Carolina due to construction and rain. Similar in Virginia. And it's been 45 to 65 degrees with rain most the days that I've been back in Maine.  Rumor is that it'll be warming up to summer temps in a day or two, which means summer activities can start. It's starting to get steamy here in Florida. High 80s to 90 degrees plus. I like the summer months...even though Florida is almost always summer weather, there's something about the actual summer months - June, July & August.  There's always the springtime prepping for the summer.
