I’m a beginner with makeup in general and have been trying to learn from online tutorials. Nearly all of them use 6-9 face shapes and non of them match my face. I get the general idea is to highlight certain features and draw the eye from others, but none of them actually tell you why it acts like that. I'm in the process of correcting my chin cosmetically an abcess took away some of my bone. Weirdest chin you can imagine. I'm like, 80% of the way back to my normal chin, but I still have some small dents. Ruins my confidence and makes me never want to wear makeup. But I just had the thought of filling the two that bother me the most (on each side of my chin) with a bit of a paste on the skin, so I can look more decent in makeup. Does that exist? I've never worn makeup, but I realized lately that I would like to! I find myself facing a few barriers. I'm curious if anyone has dealt with these? Or other barriers to wearing makeup and how you got through them? Super sensitive eyes - My search of the sub didn't turn up an answer for this one. My eyelashes sometimes will touch the top of my eyelid and literally always leave smudges of mascara. I’m gonna insert a picture that sort of shows is. I have green eyes and purple/grey tones look really good on me, but I cannot find a good pallet that has good shades.
