Howdy,
I've spent the last few days hunting coyotes in Western Colorado. I'm fairly new to coyote hunting however I've been able to call/kill coyotes in west Texas where I usually hunt.
I'm using a foxpro shockwave, I've only seen one come into the call when I was using a gray fox distress, but I've been using my usual sequences of bird distress, rabbit distress, gray fox and then into coyote pup distress.
I know there are coyotes in the area as I'm seeing scat / prey. Any advice?
Thanks!

We have even gone out with thermal scopes and not seen jack shit. We know where they are coming from, but we can’t stop them from getting onto our property.
Any advice is appreciated. (I don’t know if I should buy night vis ..read more

We know I need a hunting license, but I’m not sure if I have to take the course with it. The state website says that I can get a license without the course if my parent gives permission, but I can’t hunt on my own without taking the class, but that’s fine because I don’t plan on doing that. However the biggest confusion comes from the issues of firearms. We are unsure if I am allowed to hunt using his shotgun or muzzleloader without me havi ..read more
