Just one week to go until the big one, so there are just two by elections happening today, one in Scotland and one in Wales. Firstly in Cardiff where, along with all of Wales, all councillors were elected in 2022 on completely new boundaries and will be elected again on five year cycles in 2027. In 2022 Labour won a majority here with 55/79 seats to the Cons 11/79 and Lib Dems 10/79. Common Ground (a Green/Plaid Cymru alliance) got 2/79 and Propel (a Welsh independent party) got the final one.
