My grade 11 math teacher decided that he wasn't like those other girls. So he made my entire class do a math presentation as part of final exams. He gave us all a list of every type of math problem we did that semester and on exam day we would have to randomly solve one of them and explain to the class what we did. If we made a mistake, he'd stop us and either the first person to correct it would earn extra credit or someone who hasn't corrected yet. I just got accepted into Data Science programs at SDSU and UC Berkeley as a transfer student. I am very torn about which school to choose. Berkeley seems like it should be the obvious answer due to its prestige and how its is ranked as the number one data science undergraduate program in the US. But, if I went to SDSU I would get out debt free versus for Berkeley I would need to take loans out. Is the prestige of Berkeley worth going into debt for? By attending Berkeley would I land a higher paying job or get to work at companies like Google, Amazon, etc? Does Berkeley really give me a leg up ..read more
