Minimum waist length in a snowboard?

Hey everyone Recently picked up a Sims ATV, I'm yet to ride it, still waiting for snow in the southern hemisphere but a few weeks later I've started to read up more about waist length which I thought I could get away with at 146 with this board. My boot size is a US 9 and now I'm concerned I'm going to have too much boot overhang. So jumping on here to hear of other boarders experience with narrower board, what's the lowest you go/how much boot overhang do you find is too much? Have you ran into any issues with fitting bindings as well (I always run a medium binding)? I'm quite light so prefe ..read more

Orca vs Deep Thinker - Foot Pain Issue

I'm 5"10, 160-170 and size 9. I have a quiver of: Huck Knife 153 (Park board I can do all-mountain with) Greats 154 (All-mountain I can do park with) Orca 150 (Powder/Trees board) I've used the Orca probably 6-10 times and only 2 of those were legit powder days. I live on the East Coast so I don't get powder much. I have taken it to Banff and BC though. Anytime I use the Orca I find that by the end of the day the soles of my feet KILL. Like absolute pain. I thought maybe it was the weight of the board but it weighs about the same as the Greats to me. So to me it must be the flex and probably ..read more

Hey guys. I recently picked up this 181cm board. I’ve found the same model in smaller sizes that go for some money, but I can’t seem to find anything as big as this one. Is this one rare? Or does nobody want the big boards? submitted by /u/melloyello99 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Jones Warranty

Filed a warranty claim on some Jones Mercury bindings with a snapped toe connector and issues with the ratcheting system not releasing on the ankle strap. It’s been a a week and a half and no response. Has anyone had any recent stories with Jones warranty claim not being responsive? I purchased directly from Jones website and thought this would be more straightforward. A bit bummed out as I loved these bindings but I’m disappointed in the build quality and warranty response. submitted by /u/Revhqq [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
