Hello! My partner and i want to dance to Hysteric at our wedding, but we're struggling. We've had 2 sessions at Arthur Murray so far but they're teaching us the Rumba and my fiance is bothered by the seemingly fast tempo of our "boxes" compared to the more flowy vocals. He feels like we're just doing these weird rapid boxes that don't really match the dreamy song vibes. I have been trying to learn how to do a body roll for a while and can do the starting part of rolling my upper body but cannot do the ending motion of coming down and kind of sitting and pushing my but out. Teaching social ballroom I’ve heard the traditional hand placement of the lead’s hand on the follow’s back scapular as either scooping ice cream or “cupping a back book, like a bra” in order to get them comfortable with the placement.
